I am a grateful to be alive today, where I’ve been given the opportunity to do what I love – being a filmmaker. I am always reminded of what Thoreau said, “Do what you love. Know your own bone; gnaw at it, bury it, unearth it, and gnaw it still”.
I take this philosophy with me into every film and every project I work. For me, there is no greater joy than to work on set and to help capture the magic of a scene, or being unafraid to challenge myself to push the boundaries of my cinematic and editorial techniques.
Growing up, I’ve always been drawn to technical aspects of theatre and have had amazing opportunities running the lights and sound for theatres like The San Diego Rep and The Old Globe Theatres in Balboa Park. But, when I graduated from the University of San Diego, I knew that I wanted to be a filmmaker. Being accepted into the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, taught me the necessary skills and the confidence to embark on this journey.
Today, I get to work with many clients from Nvidia, to Inside.com, to some of the biggest YouTubers on the planet.
If you can’t tell, I’m passionate about what I do, and would love nothing more than to bring that passion to your project.
